Paper vs Non-Woven Bed Rolls

The correct disposable bed roll depends on treatment conditions, not only price. Define the surface, liquid exposure and table dimensions before choosing paper, non-woven or a barrier construction.

Paper couch rolls

Paper rolls are commonly chosen for economical, quick surface changes. Buyers compare ply or paper construction, softness, absorbency, tear strength, width and perforation. Test whether the paper remains stable during the intended dry or light-use treatment.

Non-woven bed rolls

Non-woven material can provide a different balance of softness, strength and drape. It may suit beauty, spa or massage environments where the user expects a textile-like feel. If oils or liquids are present, explain the exposure so an appropriate construction can be discussed.

Width and perforation

Measure the treatment table’s usable width instead of relying on a generic “standard” size. For perforated rolls, match sheet length to normal table coverage. Test that perforations separate cleanly without tearing the next sheet.

Calculate usable coverage

Compare total roll length, sheet interval and expected sheets per roll. Nominal roll size is less useful than the number of complete table changes produced under the real workflow.

Include freight in the comparison

Bed rolls are bulky. Ask for rolls per carton, carton dimensions and gross weight. A small difference in compression or carton configuration can change container utilization and landed cost.
